🚨Introducing🚨 LOMO Round Front Anamorphics — gorgeous vintage glass freshly rehoused by @gl_optics 40mmT2.7 - CF 2’6” 50mmT2.3 - CF 1’9” 75mmT2.2 - CF 2’ 100mmT3.1 - CF 2’ 143mm fronts, amazingly sharp wide open, and smooth as butter in all temperatures. The close focus is an absolute joy to work with; makes diopters all but unnecessary. If you’ve hung out with me in the last 9 months I’ve probably mentioned these lenses. The story of acquiring them is insane (see next post), has been an incredible learning experience and a dream come true in many ways. This project also has sentimental value because the donor glass is from St Petersburg (Leningrad), childhood home of @dariahuxley ❤️ the LOMO logo is based on the spire of the Admiralty building, where her dad studied. Rahmat Uzbekistan 🕌🚐🎞️ Hopped off the beaten path and explored Uzbekistan with my extended family. It’s an absolutely beautiful place of huge historic significance. I have a ton to say! New secret weapon for 2026 work 👼🏼 This camera weighs 1lb and slaps pretty hard. I was never a Blackmagic guy but this one sold me. You can rig it anywhere. M43 sensor, UHD resolution; all this shot with the Laowa 6mm T2.1. It definitely has a few drawbacks and quirks, but considering the price and the size it’s incredible. Also available for rent 💸 anyone interested?
