Nothing will humble you & challenge you faster than meeting a group of amazing artists and having zero time to overthink. With that being said, I had an incredible time at the “Bold Spring” photography meetup hosted by @philm.community
Immense gratitude to @jjadethebabe it was an absolute honor collaborating with you on this short but fun photoshoot. We leaned into bold lighting, movement, and expressive posing to bring the vision to life and honestly, we just had fun with it.
As someone who usually likes to plan everything out, these meetups do the exact opposite in the best way. You’re working with people you just met seconds ago, adapting to a completely new environment, and trying to build something meaningful for both yourself and person in front of the camera on the fly. It’s fast, a little chaotic, and it forces you to trust your instincts.
I know I walked away from this event a better photographer.
