I am just learning how many people are clueless about: “FORT APACHE”. when I was a little boy, my world was so sick and abandoned that crime was the borough! They would rather knock the building down instead of extracting the dope fiend dead bodies, so imagine how it smelled to reside here. My mother told me “baby, this was the best section of our life! We didn’t know anything different!” I used to play in the bricks! “FORT APACHE” was the 41st precinct. It acted as a safe haven for mothers who wanted protection for their young from the darkness of that underworld. This is before we was gangsters! The precinct was actually a little peice of heaven! It’s the little things! 🅱️🙅🏾
