I can not express how happy i am with this result. Making my gardens in motion waa for me at beggining impossible. Everything was buggy, it was looking terrible, but after spending hours this week, investigating and changing the workflow I used to have for the still images, here we go. Happy Friday people πΈπ€.

A very challenging mineral, that took its time to render. However I always test the best way to optimise the scene with the least render time possible in order to have the ability to review quickly and correct undesirable bugs.

Trapped Garden.πͺ¨πΈπ
This time I decided to go for a mineral style lookdev. This is actually what first inspired me to start 3d many years ago.
In this particular case the biggest challenge was to find the right balance for literally every channel maps. What I learnt is that macro details have to be very subtle with solid glass material, otherwise it turns easily into a plastic/ resin.
Lighting was also a headache, i could get a really nice result however it was very noisy, requiring a lot of samples and render time. I finally found a great balance that allows me to render 3/4 min per frame.
Can't wait to work on the next one.
