On May 15, 1970 Jimi Hendrix, Billy Cox and Mitch Mitchell returned to Record Plant for a recording session. Picking up where the previous session ended, Jimi focused his attention on "Freedom" recording 19 additional takes of this exceptional track. The 15th take was the most promising of the bunch thanks for his tremendous enthusiasm. This previously unreleased track is featured on the deluxe WEST COAST SEATTLE BOY box set.
