This year I saw 70 new movies in theaters. I also saw a couple of old ones, but I didn’t count those.
I spent a lot of time with friends, my wife and alone seeing movies. I loved every minute of it.
Here are some of my general thoughts from the year. It wasn’t my favorite year in film, but there were still some gems.
Happy new year, go see something in theaters in 2026 so I don’t have to single handedly keep movie theaters alive.
Oh and the first slide is in order. Blue Moon was my film of the year and I want it to win all the awards.
For my 40th birthday a few months ago, I asked everyone who came to my celebration to bring me a keychain in lieu of some other gift. I have since made this display case that I have by my desk. It makes me so happy. My friends really get me and that feels nice. (Display cases are hard to photograph 🤣)
