Love month appreciation post for my family! 🤎
Since I’m mostly away from my family because of work, I make sure to bring them with me everywhere I go, and I do that through music.
Growing up, my big bro basically shaped most of my music taste (especially with my love for rock music) 🖤 from blasting Radiohead, Nirvana, Queen, and My Chemical Romance, to now exploring more music together like Nine Inch Nails, Muse, and even some house classics lately.
With my Mama? I definitely got some of my R&B influence from her. I grew up hearing her play Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on repeat! My love for OPM? That’s from my Papa, a proud Eraserheads fan! And of course, my little sister, whom introduced me to TV Girl (and we even attended their concert together!)

We really do share the same brain when it comes to music! We even went to so many concerts together — Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, Eheads, Bruno Mars, Rex Orange County, TV Girl (also with my lil sister!), Harry Styles, and more!! And while my bro’s always been the more musically inclined one (multi-instrumentalist and all), he’s inspired me to dive deeper and appreciate the art of sound even more.
