STRANGER — visual interpretation
For the Stranger exhibition by the Korean brand SONSOEE, I chose to interpret the silhouettes through Polaroid and film.
The emulsion lift reveals the texture of the fabric and enhances every detail, creating an almost tactile sensation.
The garment becomes living matter.
I sought the organic — imperfection, grain —
to translate differently the sense of strangeness, identity, and presence.
Stepping away from the digital.
Returning to material.
Letting the textile breathe.

STRANGER — interprétation visuelle FR / KO
Pour l’exposition Stranger de la marque coréenne SONSOEE, j’ai choisi d’interpréter les silhouettes à travers le Polaroid et le film.
L’émulsion lift révèle la texture du tissu et sublime chaque détail pour une sensation presque tactile.
Le vêtement devient matière vivante.
Je suis allée chercher l’organique, l’imperfection, le grain —
pour retranscrire autrement l’étrangeté, l’identité, la présence.
Sortir du numérique.
Revenir à la matière.
Laisser le textile respirer.
STRANGER — 시각적 해석
한국 브랜드 SONSOEE의 전시 Stranger를
폴라로이드와 필름으로 재해석했습니다.
에멀전 리프트 기법은 원단의 질감을 더욱 선명하게 드러내고,
거의 만질 수 있을 듯한 촉각적인 감각을 만들어냅니다.
의상은 하나의 ‘살아 있는 물성’이 됩니다.
디지털을 벗어나,
유기적인 결, 불완전함, 필름의 그레인을 통해
낯섦과 정체성, 그리고 존재의 감각을 다시 번역하고자 했습니다.
원단이 숨 쉴 수 있도록.
