Friday night at Dick Vitale’s gala was truly special. So much gratitude for @dickiev_espn and Lorraine and their relentless commitment to fighting for kids battling cancer. Their passion, energy, and heart continue to inspire so many of us. $21 million was raised for pediatric cancer research with the @thevfoundation . Thank you @dangerusswilson and @themarkpentecost for an impactful $2 million donation. An incredible achievement, yet a powerful reminder that so much more is needed. After more than 12 years on this journey with Weston through his five battles with brain cancer, I have seen firsthand how vital continued funding is for these children and their families. The All-Courageous Team is incredibly inspiring, and along the way we have met many amazing kids who are no longer with us, whose memory fuels an even deeper commitment to this mission. I will continue to do everything I can to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research until we find a cure. Honored to have some of my closest friends there supporting us and standing alongside this mission, and proud to be part of a community that cares so deeply about making a difference. #sarasota #vfoundation #PediatricCancer #EndChildhoodCancer #CancerResearch

Inspiring night at Dick Vitale’s home with Bob Valvano, Jimmy V’s brother, reflecting on what it will take to top this year’s $21 million raised for pediatric cancer research, the Wild West of college athletics, and Dick’s ongoing fight as he takes on cancer for the fifth time. Please keep Dick in your thoughts and prayers as he continues immunotherapy this week.

Back at Liberty University for a recruiting visit for Weston, and this one hits different. Almost three decades ago, I walked this campus as a student with big dreams and no idea what the future would hold. Today, I’m back as a father, watching my son chase his. If you know Weston’s story, you know what it took just to get here. Nothing has ever come easy for him, and that’s exactly why moments like this mean so much. Grateful for the journey. Grateful for the perspective. Grateful to be here together. #5xbraincancersurvivor #vfoundation #bauerhockey #nevergiveuponyourdreams #gratitude

The first two days of NCAA March Madness have been absolutely incredible. Buzzer beaters, upsets, and nonstop action. This is what makes March the best time of the year. Now imagine watching the Elite 8 games next Saturday in an intimate setting with big screens, great people, and one of the most iconic voices in college basketball, Dick Vitale. I’m co chairing March Mayhem and we are bringing together a small group of about 200 people for an unforgettable night while raising money for pediatric cancer research, a cause that means everything to my family after Weston’s journey. What to expect • Elite 8 games live on massive screens • Food and open bar • Bourbon tasting • Silent auction with incredible items • Raffles and giveaways • Special guests and an electric atmosphere This is more than just watching basketball. It’s a chance to be part of something meaningful while experiencing March Madness in a way you won’t anywhere else. Spots are limited and we are close to selling out. Grab your tickets now mayhem.givesmart.com If you want to come with a group or are interested in a sponsorship, reach out to me directly. Would love to have you there.

I need your help 🙏 See link below for tickets. On Saturday, March 28th at 6 PM, I’m co-chairing an incredible event with Jason E Hughes… “March Mayhem with Dick Vitale” at Gold Coast Distributors in Lakewood Ranch for the March Madness Elite 8 games. This is going to be a fun night… big screens, great people, awesome energy… but more importantly, it’s for a cause that is deeply personal to me and my family. Over the past 12 years, my son Weston has battled brain cancer 5 different times. We’ve lived through the fear, the uncertainty, the treatments, and the fight no family ever wants to face. We’ve also seen firsthand how critical research, funding, and support are in giving kids a chance to keep going. That’s why this event means so much to me. We’re keeping this night intimate with around 200 people, and tickets are going quickly. Our goal is simple… fill the room with people who care and want to make a real difference. Every ticket helps fund pediatric cancer research and brings hope to families who are in the middle of their own fight right now. If you can come, it would mean a lot to me and my family. If you can’t, sharing this post helps more than you know. Let’s pack the room, enjoy an incredible night of basketball, and do something meaningful together. Grab your tickets before it sells out: Mayhem.givesmart.com Thank you for the support ❤️

Thank you Coach Jon Cooper and the Tampa Bay Lightning for inviting Weston onto the ice to be part of Coach Cooper’s 1,000th NHL game celebration. From the very beginning, you have treated Weston and our entire family like part of your own, and that means more to us than we can put into words. Over the years, Coach has had Weston practice with the Lightning twice, included him as part of Coop’s Catch Fishing Tournament for the past seven years, and always found time to check in, even calling after surgeries and treatments just to see how he was doing. During some of Weston’s hardest moments, the encouragement, uplifting support, and special events you gave him to look forward to made a real difference and helped carry him through those tough days. Through surgeries, chemo, and every hard season in between, you have shown up with kindness, belief, and constant support. Coach Coop, you are more than a great coach. You are a leader, a mentor, and a friend, and an example of what it means to lift people up. To everyone with the Lightning, especially Sarah Costello, thank you for welcoming our family the way you have and for giving Weston a moment that will stay with him forever. We are so grateful, so thankful, and so proud to feel like part of the Bolts family and also thank you Julie Anderson for all you do for my family.
