It’s been a week since @willychavarrianewyork SS26 ‘HURON’ show in Paris — and I’m still feeling the thrill. From casting to creatives, it was a labor of heart and culture. We brought our people, our stories, and our energy to the runway, and the impact was real.
I’m so grateful to have been part of the casting team again this season with #brentchua, @alertski , @stephanegaboue , @aemmaf , @kayla_em & @marco_ovando — and to have shared space with icons like @newyorkwilly , @jesscuevas7 , @rebecaml , @mr_carlos_nazario , @yad1m , @paulhanlonhair . We brought that NYC edge and Latin heat to Paris Fashion Week — and the city felt it.
Fashion isn’t always just clothes. Sometimes it’s a voice. A moment. A movement. And this one reminded me why I love what I do —How we love is who we are…it’s about people, energy, culture, and connection.
Thank you, Willy, for reigniting the fire and blazing a trail for a lot of us. 🔥
It’s been about a week since @willychavarrianewyork debut show in Paris where our community showcased our hearts and culture. It was a labor of love wrangling in Muses, Models, VIPs and the cast but we made it through seamlessly and effortlessly we all sang the same song and it was a hit.
I’m so grateful to have been a part of the casting team, alongside #brentchua, @stephanegaboue@alertski and @aemmaf and have shared space and creative energies with brilliant minds I’ve always admired; @mr_carlos_nazario@yad1m@paulhanlonhair@jesscuevas7 and co to bring a bit of that New York flavor and Latin culture to Paris Fashion Week.
Only Willy could draw me out of casting retirement for such a powerful experience and show that truly captures the zeitgeist. working along with this incredible team and his presence reignited my “passion for fashion” Thank you, Willy, for your creativity and spirit and for highlighting our cultura!
