I recently picked up the 2019 instrumental reissue to go with my original print of the album. This album is mixed and mastered to perfection, nobody has an ear quite like Dre. The little things he does in his mixes are what really makes his tracks stand out.

A new track I’m working on for instrumentals vol.2 called Y2K.
For this I used a sample, recut parts and rearranged it. I then sped it up to match the track BPM and pitched it up slightly. The kick plays continuously throughout the track to keep everything moving forward. I think this would work well as a party rap style track!
