When
@mslizzyf and
@jgrillo310 approached me about doing a oner sequence for the end of episode 4 of
@terminallistpv (dark wolf) I jumped at the chance. That excitement was quickly filled with the reality that we only had 3 days to rehearse and film and basically a half day for me to see a stunt rehearsal. An action sequence like this would take a couple of weeks to rehearse and shoot. I started to calmly break down the sequence and with the help of Liz, John, the stunt team, and the rest of the crew , we came up with a 5 part stitched sequence that would essentially follow a briefcase with nuclear bearings during a heist.
Part 1: we crafted a slider setup outside of an SUV and used the stabileye to operate smoothly in a very tight space. I was one the slider rig, and my b-op
@mattwindon_dp operated the wheels remotely. This setup involved some precise timing and coordination as well as a dismount from the slider rig and chase to another car.
Part 2: picks up in the car, similar slider setup, but much more confined.
Part 3: involved a slow-motion stabileye handheld shot after our heroes are stopped by an RPG part 4: transitions into Steadicam which involved a slew of stunt cues and SFX window smashes and dust hits, and ends with me stepping up onto an electric cart setup as
@taylorkitsch sprints into a tunnel for cover. I hop off the cart and we blend a wipe int Part 5 (seen in the video): another step up onto the electric vehicle for a full sprint with Taylor as he reaches cover and a little fancy footwork to finish it off.

@digiliofilms @sterncofarms , max adams). A separate shoutout to Jared our producers/military coordinator for working this action sequence out with the stunt team and making sure we kept the military authenticity in check.
