Today, in honor of Jewish American Heritage Month, Jews across the United States will mark Shabbat by celebrating 250 years since America's founding. May we all be filled with gratitude for the simple joys and blessings in our lives. Shabbat Shalom.
#NationalOlderAmericansMonth reminds us that caring for our seniors is a sacred responsibility, and one we take seriously. Through the @JFederations Center on Aging, Trauma, and Holocaust Survivor Care, we help Holocaust survivors and all older adults with a history of trauma get the care and support they deserve. As concerns about antisemitism and community security continue to grow, #JewishFederations are working with lawmakers, law enforcement, and community partners to help keep Jewish communities safe. Learn how you can get involved; visit the link in our bio.
@TraderJoes is facing protests for continuing to carry Israeli products. By keeping favorites like Bamba, Israeli feta, and other staples on their shelves, they’re making sure customers can continue to enjoy these foods. At a time when Israeli businesses face pressure, that choice matters! Click the link in our bio to send your thanks.
@JFederations mourn the passing of Abe Foxman, a towering voice against antisemitism and a lifelong champion of the Jewish people. A Holocaust survivor who transformed personal tragedy into moral courage, Abe dedicated his life to defending Jewish communities, advancing human dignity, and strengthening the bonds between people of all backgrounds.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all who were touched by his extraordinary legacy. May his memory be a blessing.
Working closely with teachers and administrators, #JewishFederations are on the front lines, mobilizing to protect the rights of Jewish students – and all students – in the classroom.

Happy Lag BaOmer! Today marks the 33rd day of the Omer, a day when we honor Rabbi Akiva and the miraculous end of a devastating plague that had killed his disciples. This day of celebration offers a respite in a period of mourning.
Lag BaOmer is a reminder that, even in our darkest moments, joy finds a way. For generations, the Jewish people have endured, knowing when to mourn and when to dance, when to grieve and when to celebrate.
Today, we celebrate. Chag Sameach!
Hiding weapons inside a school and using civilians as human shields is not the work of a liberation organization. It’s terrorism.
