People always ask me why I still box.
Truth is… it’s never been about winning or losing.
When I retired 5 years ago, I went down a dark path. I lost who I really was. Drinking, making bad choices, doing things no one should be doing. I felt lost and silent inside.
But boxing gave me purpose again. It gave me discipline, focus, and most importantly — it helped me find myself again.
Now I fight for more than just myself.
I fight for the men who feel like they can’t speak about what they’re going through. The ones suffering in silence, battling demons nobody sees.
You are not weak for speaking up.
You are not alone.
If I can be a voice for even one person struggling, then every punch, every round, every bit of pain is worth it.
Mental health matters. Especially for men.
