Four years later, I am excited to share that HUELLA, the film that transformed my career is now available to stream on Hulu and Kanopy! Being part of the Rising Voices family has been a gift and I am forever grateful to my collaborators on this project - Thank you @indeedworks @hillmangrad @271films @drivenequation Can’t help but celebrate the brilliant @shakirabarrera @deniseblasor @carla.valentine.3 and the rest of my incredible cast and crew for all they brought to this movie in the middle of a pandemic. All four seasons of Rising Voices short films are now streaming! 5 years of impressive works by some of the filmmakers I respect the most. This program has catapulted so many of us and I am so happy we can now share all the films far and wide. xx

After almost seven years in the making, a pandemic, different zip codes and time zones — Morenita (@morenitamovie ), Diana Valencia and Gabriela Ortega’s FIRST film, will be making its world premiere are at the Oscar qualifying Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival @laliff_ ! We are so thrilled to finally be able to share this story with the city that made this film happen. Screening June 1st, 2025 at 4pm at the TLC Chinese theatre 6 as part of shorts block 4.
