Jenny was annoyed that she was going to miss out on Mothers Day this year. Our baby thought he would surprise us and come early!!!

Amor you have been a mother for 9 months, and everyday I have watched you lean further into your role as a provider and protector of our boy. Watching you go through labour and give birth was nothing short of incredible. You have opened up my eyes even more to the sacrifice and effort Mothers make for their children. I love you and our son more than words can express.

And it sounds obvious… but nothing like this journey of growing a little human inside me,
of going through alllll the changes, inside and out,

In moments like this when my body is changing, my emotions are loud (er) and my world is shifting I feel it even more.

This journey has changed us.

They guide us. They ground us. They remind us why we chose each other in the first place.

so smart, so funny, so deeply responsible and caring: you’ve stepped into this with a presence that makes me feel safe.
Not just as your partner, but as the mother of your child.
I don’t question the father you will be.
I see it already in the way you show up, in the way you care, in the way you hold us.
