Pretty epic month at Ground Up Press, culminating in this 10 color screenprint, based on my design for the @hopbutcher release “Twilight to Starlight”, a collaboration with @smashingpumpkins and @madamezuzus as part of the 7 night stand at @lyricopera .
Back in 2019 I made this drawing as part of a full color package illustration for a release by Chicago’s @darkmattercoffee . It was a special release as we allowed the coffee bag artwork to be used by anyone who wanted to use it.
After conversations I had in my art tent with many people this weekend at Apple Fest I decided to bring this design back as a T-shirt . They are now available on my site.

I always get excited for the opportunity to design and print the annual Dark Lord Day poster and this year was no different. Thirty years of Floyd’s! 15 years making posters for them!! As Ancient Greece was the theme I went with a woefully underrepresented Greek Deity, good Ol Hades. Here he is in all his DLD skull loveliness, in metallic blues and silvers, greeting us to the other side with his three headed hound Cerberus. “Straight Up without wings” - conversations with Joe McPhee on @corbettvsdempsey is a compelling and beautiful read and is a great insight into a living legend.
