What an honor to be recognized by @hbcupass with such a prestigious award.
When we took on the responsibility of reshaping the narrative of Delaware State University football media, our goal was clear: to show the world that DSU can compete at the highest level of collegiate football media. We wanted HBCU players, coaches, fans, and students to feel a new energy the New Jac Era.
This was never about who could create the flashiest content. For us, it was about telling a new story rewriting history in real time, capturing todayâs culture, and staying authentic, relevant, and impactful.
This season, an incredible group of individuals came together and delivered every single day. Their passion and dedication were unmatched. The sacrifices were real time away from family, countless hours editing, daily 2â4 hour drives, early 7 a.m. practices, seven days a week, working exclusively for DSU. They built real relationships with our players and coaches and poured everything into telling this story the right way.
None of this would have been possible without Coach DeSean Jacksonâs trust and belief in us to help tell his vision and journey.
Being named Media Team of the Year is a testament to Godâs grace and the collective effort behind this mission. We are truly grateful to also receive Creative Innovation Award and Viral Moment of the Year.
It was an extra blessing to see Ty win Photographer of the Year and Lynden earn On-Camera Talent of the Year as a freshman.
Year one
what a ride.
Thank you to everyone who voted and followed our journey. Special thanks to Delaware State University, Tiana, Coach Jac, Starr, AD Tucker, Norman Oliver, Tony & Tara Allen, the entire football staff, the players, and most importantly, the state of Delaware.
Grateful beyond words.

âStars & Signsâ â¨đŹ Episode 2
This Episode Dirty Popcorn series was inspired by Peg Entwistle the actress remembered for jumping from the Hollywood sign while chasing her dream to become a star. I mixed her story with the spirit of Marilyn Monroe, one of the first true symbols of Hollywood fame and beauty.
But this film is not about glorifying suicide.
Sometimes Hollywood changes lives for the better⌠sometimes the pressure, rejection, and loneliness become too heavy. This visual is meant to shine light on both sides of the dream.
People come to Hollywood searching for purpose, love, fame, and a chance to be remembered forever. Some stories end in success. Some end in heartbreak. But film has a way of making people immortal long after theyâre gone.
âStars & Signsâ asks one question:
How far should someone go to chase their dreams? đż

GHOST
I wanted to mix old school music video vibes with new AI filmmaking to create something that feels like a movie from another timeline.
Inspired by the era when music videos felt big, cinematic, and magical.
This is not about replacing the past.
Itâs about showing love to it while creating something new.
Analog legends. Digital ghosts. Future cinema.
Directed by âThe Shooter.â
GHOST CREATED BY @jetphynx & A.i
Featuring MJ THE GOAT (ai)
This film was created out of love
not for profit, not for attention... but for the art.
For the music that moves us.
For the films that shaped us.
For the legends who inspired us.
This is a tribute to creativity across generations where sound, cinema, and imagination collide.
Built using new tools, inspired by timeless artistry, this piece explores
what happens when we blend eras, styles, and vision into one experience.
A celebration of storytelling.
A reflection of influence.
A glimpse into whatâs possible.
If you feel it... you get it.
Now sit back enjoy the ride.
...and donât forget the popcorn.

Today is my birthday and I celebrate more than a birthday⌠I celebrate evolution.
From a freestyle rapper out of the streets of ElktonâŚ
To dropping my first mixtape âRise of the Phynx.â
From traveling the world with Lady GagaâŚ
To releasing âThe Artâ my album debut in Best Buy, selling over 10,000 CDs and landing a deal with Interscope Records.
Four different labels in ten years.
A pop duo run with Typical Friday Night.
Over 2,000 songs recorded.
Years of touring.
Grammy and MTV award experiences.
Working with some of the greatest artists and musicians of our time.
I fought my way out of a bad record dealâŚ
Came back home to DelawareâŚ
Started a family.
Rebranded.
Dropped three more mixtapes.
Then God gave me a new lens.
I built Jet Phynx Films from the ground up.
Started directing, creating visuals, developing artists, and helping labels shape their vision.
Worked with brands as a Creative Director.
Played a role in shifting culture through style, storytelling, and visual branding.
Poured back into my city and my state.
And landed an incredible opportunity with DSU.
My dreams are still big.
My mission is bigger.
I want to create unforgettable moments, capture stories, and help others bring their visions to life through creativity.
When I look at the greatest artists, they never stayed the same.
Every era⌠a new evolution.
Thatâs been my journey too. Different versions of me. Same purpose.
Iâm grateful to see another year. Itâs been a wild ride â and I know thereâs more to come.
Thank you, God. Youâve been better to me than I couldâve ever imagined. Iâm beyond blessed.
And to anybody chasing a dream:
You can make it too. Donât quit. Have unwavering faith. Trust Godâs plan.
Forget the noise. Be who youâre called to be.
Only God can judge and He leads with love and forgiveness.
This is just another chapter.
The story is still being written.
