65 hours in 4 days doing my favorite thing to do. I’m especially proud of the color matching to the surrounding elements on this one.
Big thanks to
@stanford for bringing me back for my 4th mural! And a huge thanks to
@daniellewohl for your support all these years.
On that note, I want to express my everlasting appreciation for all the women in my life, and to those not in my life. Professionally, 99% of the people who I work with are women. Art consultants, gallerists, curators, studio manager (talking to you
@iamerica2686 ), art commissioners, museum directors and on and on. I simply would not be working as a professional artist without the support and trust of the women who keep our industry afloat. Almost every single milestone I have achieved can be directly attributed to women who believed in me. Without women, I would not have the career I have, and I am not really sure we would have an organized art industry at all. Many of my favorite artists are women. Thankyou!!!
In my personal life, women hold my life together. I was raised by a discretely powerful woman, who allowed me to be me. All my life, I have been blessed with many friendships with tremendous women of all stripes. The women in my home are divine and powerful at the center of my life… also that boy, of course. And the cat.
To be totally honest, to this day, a lot of my artistic and personal efforts, are driven by the desire to impress the women in my life. In terms of motivation, I could do a lot worse.
We need more women in positions of power, period! Make room for girls and young women to lead us.
Fellas, you’re all right too! Everyone is beautiful and full of potential. I’ll tell ya’ll how much I love you later.
