🫀While we await its publication, I share a small sample of the work done for the book written by Kerry Ward (@mytarotbella ) for the publisher @quadrillebooks , titled “This Book Will Make You Psychic”, a little gem that will help you improve your psychic abilities and believe, perceive and receive all that is only visible with the eyes of the soul.🫀 It is not necessary to see in order to believe, but to believe in order to see. 🫀🦀💫🌙🌞 The sacred sitar that calms my being and reminds me that perhaps there was a time when I searched for answers for a long time in a strange land full of colors, smells and sounds.

“The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle,” by Japanese writer Haruki Murakami, is a novel brimming with improbable stories, mystery, and surrealism, with constant allusions to light, environments, and different atmospheres. A cast of strange characters accompanies its protagonist, Toru Okada, through exceptional places and situations as he embarks on an even more epic and arduous inner journey. The novel is clearly surreal and mysterious, so I decided to choose one of these two traits to establish and solidify the tone of the work. However, the firm conviction that I lacked the necessary graphic resources at that time to bring the project to fruition led me to constantly rethink the work done. As a result, almost none of the illustrations match the initially approved sketches. I worked on the fly, with constant twists, changes, and improvisations, open to the discoveries the process offered. The result is more than 30 interior illustrations for this deluxe edition, signed and numbered by Haruki Murakami himself and published by the North American publisher Centipede Press in a non determinate month of 2026.

I worked on this book under decidedly complex circumstances. There were times when events seemed to pile up one after another like heavy stones in a funnel neck. Yet, despite everything, I worked with an unusual calm. Experience, years, new perspectives, the invaluable help of my loved ones, the desire not to give up and to pursue "the desire" beyond the fog that sometimes prevents us from seeing the path clearly, have brought the ship safely to port. I thank Kerry for the freedom she has given me to express her words, experiences, and feelings; for respecting my instinct, something of utmost importance to me; and for trusting my method. When one returns to the river and prepares to cross it again, one realizes that the river is no longer the same one crossed before, and, that this time, a different raft will be needed. Let's go!

Many thanks to @thamesandhudsonusa @thamesandhudson for giving me the opportunity to participate in this project. To Shannon Smith, for keeping my work in mind until the opportunity arose. To Tannia Estela and Matt for making my work shine in such a special way. And to each and every one of them for trusting in my work. I hope that when you open the box, only joy, fun, and smiles will come out. Let the game begin, and good luck to all the participants!

Cover for this formidable story written by the Argentine writer Gabriela Cabezón Cámara that will be launched in a few months under a slightly different appearance. “It seems to me that thinking in a different way, knowing another way of seeing the world, for example, of Native Americans, can help us not to resign ourselves to the apocalypse, and to fight and to find love again , love as a network that sustains life on Earth of which we are a part". (Gabriela Cabezón Cámara for WMagazine).
