This year in August 2026 Glacier are returning to Europe for @trveheim and I couldn’t be more excited! New material is being debuted with my new live rig, more challenging solos, more vocal parts and even more head banging from me (if you can believe it) 🤘
These pictures are from my very first time outside of the United States at Headbangers Open Air in Germany. Lennart was way super welcoming to me at that fest, and I’m honored to perform at his own annual festival! Until then, there is so much to do and prep for, maybe even some tour planning (hmu if you’re going to be in Europe this summer).

Aperture Science \\ Over 10 years since I started incorporating video with a camera rig into my work flow, and exactly 2 years ago my main Sigma 16mm f/1.4 wide angle was broken in the field. I was performing with @glaciermetal in Warsaw, Poland when the camera took a long fall 😭
Browsing @adorama daily, feeling far too option-paralyzed to move forward, and using my trusty iPhone 15 Pro for EVERYTHING, I have missed having a proper rig to capture our world with. I also haven’t captured any major video projects since then, and the ones I have finished were very simple productions.
2 years TO THE DAY, a great deal pops up on marketplace, and I am reunited with this sweet, sweet piece of glass. @sigmaphoto I know you make nicer lenses, but few of them capture indoor, tight spaces as easily and beautifully as your 16mm f/1.4. I wavered back and forth about posting my home space, but life is pretty scary and I think it is good to share a bit more of where I am at. No monitors, bad acoustics, no problem! Open windows, natural light, and headphones took me through this snow lock-in over the weekend. Sometimes you just have to see what these vintage drums can handle. What does a 1970’s Japanese drum kit with a Slingerland pedal sound like for blasting? Pretty on point actually!
A new kit lands at the studio! Well, part of a kit - a 20” kick drum a 12” tom tom, and a fairly dilapidated 14” snare to be exact. While we don’t know much about it, the core kit sounds amazing when paired with our Ludwig 5.5”x14” wooden snare and 16” floor tom. Perhaps we’ll find a floor tom to match it one day!
