Here’s the next stage of the forehead mould-making process! This shows the casting of the forehead core using Axson F40 resin (polyurethane), backfilled with fast-cast resin. All materials purchased from @neillsmaterials 👊🏻
I followed @nrgorton@gorton_studio tutorial, which was super easy to follow and packed with great tips! There were a few differences between the tutorial and my process, such as the type of fast-cast resin I used, and I couldn’t insert bolts for removability due to my facilities. However, I found an alternative solution for this later on.

This character was inspired by Nausicaa from “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind” (a warrior princess).
