After four years of filming, in intimate settings, but also side by side rolling through the festival season. From hotel rooms to DJ booths and backstages, from The Hague to Tisno. Now, the moment is finally here: our short doc is finished.
What started as an idea to capture a glimpse of Gino’s process while creating his debut album MENG, grew into a project that intertwined deep lows, childhood memories, and the journey of turning passion into work. Four intense years in which filming often felt almost therapeutic.
With an amazing crew by our side, countless lessons learned, and a bond that turned us into friends, we are beyond proud to share that the documentary will soon be screened at Flora, PIP Den Haag, Justin Verkijk/The Beat, and Movies That Matter.
It feels like more than just a film, it’s a journey we lived through together, and can now finally share with all of you.
