In street photography, everything unfolds in an instant. Yet that instant begins long before the shutter is released. It begins with presence, confidence, rhythm, the ability to read the light, and to sense what is about to happen in the urban environment. With Jesse Marlow, you will spend two days exploring precisely this passage from seeing to image-making. Through on-street practice, direct coaching and moments of exchange, you will work on your visual voice, refining observation, use of colour, composition, and sensitivity to human presence in the city. What an incredible last 6 days in Venice at the @leica_camera Global Training and Akademie Summit. Surrounded by inspiring colleagues and friends, sharing ideas and collaborating on group projects in such a beautiful city. It was so great to meet and work with everyone! These photos were made in my spare moments across the week. I’m looking forward to returning again in 2027 for a @leica_akademie_aus destination workshop.
