🐣 This Easter weekend is all about going back to the roots. We’re visiting Ole Falk, aka Dr Feelgood, aka my uncle, but more importantly: the person that got me started in the noble craft of vinyl DJ’ing.
When looking after me as a favor to my dad, he put me behind his two Technics at the tender age of 11 years, sparking my interest for record playing and accelerating the fire for music that was already within.
There was nothing cooler than to have your own family as a teacher. A teacher that was playing big stages and hosting secret raves around the country during the peak of the Dutch (hard) dance music. Nowadays, he has traded in the high intensity DJ lifestyle for a more laidback existence in a beautiful valley somewhere in the Southwest of Portugal.
To celebrate the occassion and revisit old times, the night mayor has planned a gig for the three of us. Needless to say it’s something to look forward to. Keep an eye out for some more material after the weekend! 👁️👁️👁️
