HMRLP042 The first Hive Mind release of 2026 is now up on a Bandcamp for pre-order. The album is Nocturnes by Jesse Hackett, a beautiful plunge into an eerie world of rain-soaked twilight jazz and gothic chamber music. Alongside saxophonist and flautist Finn Peters, Jesse has created a deliciously downbeat album of works that channel the spirits of Erik Satie, Maurice Ravel, Olivier Messiaen, or the jazz lineage of Bill Evans and Charles Mingus. The album is out in full on February 27th both digitally and as a limited vinyl run of 250 copies. You can listen to Rain Soaked Choker right now. #jessehackett #twilightjazz #gothicchambermusic #hivemindrecords

Nocturnes . Releases On Limited Vinyl February 27 @hive_mind_records Boomkat Review : Hackett came up with the album after long nights with Accidental alumnus Peters going back and forth over music from Erik Satie, Oliver Messiaen and Charles Mingus. Peters is a worthy collaborator, matching Hackett’s limber piano performance (and subtle production touches) with evocative, breathy soundscapes that sound as if they’ve been recorded straight to 1/2” tape in some elegant leather-clad ‘70s Italian studio. @finnpeters Live Footage : George Cragg Video : Viraag Jadev

Billys Garden . Private Art Book Billy’s garden documents the private work of Bill Hackett . His working environment a home made shed at the bottom of the garden surrounded by nature , plants , compost , earth soil and wood . The juxtaposition of the raw organic elements , life death and decay , his tools and home & Beloved granddaughter as extensions of his creative universe as a craftsman . Bills pieces are never usually planned in advance of making them . He describes each head slowly revealing itself and coming to life as he channels himself and his dreams into the wood . Once confessing that he talks to his tools on a regular basis he connects with a deep imagination and subconscious and depicts the gods and Demons , insects and other unworldly entities which inhabit his soul . Check out the full new 4K version of the video in Nocturnes You Tube Link 🔗 bio

‘class clown’ performed live @mu.ldn alongside @jessehackettworld I wrote this poem about an experience with depersonalisation (the supposed inspiration for Munch’s scream painting) I had some time ago... A reality altering breakdown in which it feels like time itself stops and the person u remember to be disappears. They say to lucid dream u must touch something to realise u have lost all touch, this the way to control your dream. To try and save myself from losing myself during this nightmare spell I touched a cold van door to discover whether I was lost for good. I felt the cold hard steel and started to re-enter reality. The never ending road grew positively shorter. The end was in sight. I finally remembered who I was

🌑Larks🌑 why didn’t we hear the sky larks ? Why didn’t we hear them sing ? In your flight of attack, in this bland flannel grey confines of a Monday court hearing I remembered who u are and feel sorry for what you’ve become We should observe the Heather Impermanent like the weather and purple as the dawn There is a distant blue window There is a a clearing in Gods ceiling Words & Music : Jesse Hackett vocals :Eska Flute : Finn Peters Bass : Lawrie Right

.🌑. The track “ Unnecessary Attention,” performed live at Map CafĂ© in Kentish Town on March 27, 2026, was loosely inspired by British trumpet player Ian Carr and his group, Nucleus and French composer François de Roubaix . Performed at Map CafĂ©, in front of a small crowd of friends and family. The collection of new music included selections from the Nocturnes album, featuring many of the original lyrics and some new compositions played for the first time .
