I’ve been taking a break from original art lately as I’ve been working full time. But in my free time I’ve been building model kits with my girlfriend @buckaroo_bonz . We sit and build and paint while watching old b movies and it’s so fun and soothing. I think I’m going to do a lot more of these ww2 themed mech suit kits. I know I owe some of you some of things you asked about. I’m sorry about that and will be back in touch soon!
Today is a sad and frustrating day! Luky’s hardware has closed permanently. Every single piece I’ve made has had hardware and little doodads all over it that came from here. I kept it a secret for a while, only sharing with certain fellow artists. It was my treasure trove and they got thousands of my dollars! lol. But they are retiring and have sold off the entire inventory. I managed to fill several boxes from the dregs that were left. Tomorrow every thing else is going to the dumpster. If you need little scientific looking bits and bobs for your projects- you need to get down here NOW. They also have almost all of their braided hoses still if that interests you. RIP. I’m going to have to find a source for certain hardware bits that I used on almost every single sculpture. 😬
