New single from The And Is Now, out now! 'Outside', featuring the one and only Jesse Dangerously.
The beat was originally called 'Throwing Fuses', I think because the part I built the tune around reminded me of 'Red Shoes' by Throwing Muses. When I sent the beat to Jesse and he copped the reference, I knew it was gonna be something special. Having previously collaborated in an indirect way it was very exciting to work on a track together like this.
Check it out now on Bandcamp or streaming!
The second cassette to highlight for #cassetteweek2025 is this beauty from @jessedangerously and @ambeez___ under the name The Library Steps. Rap Dad, Real Dad comes in two versions: silver and gold, each with different cover art by @thesis_sahib . The cassettes have an exclusive bonus song and one more secret audio difference between them that is up to you to discover. I don't think anyone has yet.
Order this week and save $5 off the usual price!

most mornings i walk past this billboard and lately the Chick-Fil-A* of it all has been a real bummer. it's nice to see someone made better use of the real estate. kinda smart to leave the eye-grabber intact and sneak the important message as a stowaway.
*do people still know it's like, the homophobic chicken chain? like how Dominos used to be the anti-choice pizza chain, and Coke used to have death squads to suppress worker disobedience? Is it like so 90s to care about that?
If you're wondering where I stand on any issue, or have recommendations for how I could act in alignment with my values, hmu. I'll answer in comments or in the feed somewhere for big ones.
