The @adaptivdefense Single Officer Active Shooter Response is an intensive course focused on individual gunfighting skill development and multi-decade validated CQB derived from the core principles of Surprise, Speed, and Violence of Action.
The team recently ran this course with Jacksonville Sheriffs Office and @florida.swat , putting 22 students through elite flat range instruction featuring @brantley_merriam among our core cadre of CQB / Shooting subject matter experts.

COMPARISON
One month ago I shot this stage in a match. We went out to train on Monday and most of the stage was still setup so we hung the paper and ran it again.
It’s interesting to see some general improvements from 4x days a week of dry fire and 1x day a week of live fire between now and then, but also the difference in hesitation between a training run and a major match run.
I’ll be looking to push up my skills and further close performance gap between these two in the coming months as me make a push for a great rest of the year.

So we put one of the best pistol competition shooters on the planet in full duty kit and had him run a pretty tough rifle stage.
It’s weird, it’s almost like shooting is shooting much like running is running and most of the fake and gay stuff people do on the range is INDEED fake and gay
