Hi friends!
It’s been a little while since I’ve posted so I figured I’d share a little update ☺️.
While taking my hiatus from IG I went to nursing school, became an RN in the emergency department, got a puppy, focused on my friends and family, and got engaged! I did my first trail half marathon, ran the Honolulu marathon, and took many trips and vacations where my camera barely came out of my bag (these were taken from the one morning I actually took photos).
It was nice to be fully present and not worrying about capturing content. But I’ve also really come to miss the community on here. I have so many amazing memories built around conversations and opportunities that came from this space.
So here I am, returning 🩵. I look forward to the memories to come!
Jess
Happy Tuesday!
I’m currently training at a new CNA job and slowly but surely getting used to waking up at 4:30 am 😅.
What time do you all wake up for work?
It’s Monday!
Today I’m studying, cleaning, moving my body, and getting back into my normal routine.
The few days after Christmas before New Years always feel a bit odd and that feeling is definitely amplified this year.
Normally we’d be getting ready for a big New Years get together. This year we’re planning a party of three (Tim, Sushi, and I).
Routines help me feel accomplished and organized. They help me get out of my head and pull me back into life.
Hope everyone is having a good Monday 🧡.
This Holiday season was definitely different.
First Tim and I took a few days earlier this week to treat ourselves to a vancation to the mountain.
Then today we dedicated the day to dropping off gifts from a distance and spending quality time over FaceTime and zoom.
I hope you are all feeling loved and making sure to spread some holiday cheer but also making sure to take care of yourselves as well!

Happy Holidays!
I’ve been seeing so many posts about how hard this year has been. It really has been.
But there’s also been some really special moments.
This time of year can be especially hard for so many of us for all kinds of different reasons.
Just a reminder to take the time you need. A reminder that even though this year may look a lot different or feel a lot harder, you have the right to spend the holidays your way.
I hope you’re able to talk to your loved ones and spend some time doing something that brings your joy.
Please remember, to wear a mask, stay safe, and check in on your people ❤️.
Me eyeing the snow forecast 😍.
Still waiting for a little more snow before we hit the slopes but I’m starting to get so excited for ski season this year!
I had such an amazing time teaming up with @marriottbonvoy@americanexpress@iamwellandgood for a Wellness Daycation experience a few weeks ago!
I led a rejuvenating yoga class and DIY body scrub + breath work session! The experience was the perfect opportunity to get grounded and recharge!

Happy Tuesday 🌞.
Do something nice for yourself today!
Today I’m starting off with fresh juice, coffee, then taking my last final of prerequisites, going for a walk, and painting some of my pottery that just came out of the kiln!
What do you have going on today?

What this week feels like so far 😅 a struggle.
If you feel like you’re losing it, you’re not alone!
I know a lot of us are so tired of this pandemic, we’re exhausted of trying to find creative ways to stay connected while also being SO SICK of all the screen time. We’re fatigued from being stressed all of the time, we miss our loved ones.
But now isn’t the time to pretend that everything’s okay. As the holidays engulf us, now is the time we really need to buckle down. The numbers are climbing and we’ve got to keep our loved ones safe, keep ourselves safe, and hold on just a while longer.
Do something kind for yourself today. Drink extra water. Maybe get outside for some fresh air.
We’ve got this.
Sometimes all you can do is try to find a new perspective.
This year has pushed a lot of us way out of our ‘normal’ and into new ways of living and thinking.
Allow yourself to be fluid. Allow yourself to grow and change as the world changes around you.
Open your mind. Try to see things from another point of view. Be patient and gracious with yourself.
Give yourself a little grace and forgiveness as you learn and grow.
