I’m so excited to share Spring Break in the Electric Swamp 🔥🌴 my new projection created for the Orb at the Betsy Hotel, Miami Beach @thebetsyhotel On view nightly, 7:30 - 11 pm, through May 4 ⚡️Sound by Cristy Michel @shehersirmusic Spring Break in the Electric Swamp is a digital animation that casts the swamp in a parallel dimension. In this imagined landscape, technology and ecology merge, layering into one another with an unpredictable pulse and glitch. The work draws from the physical environments of Florida, where I’m from, and New Orleans, where I live. Both are both humid, dense places where the landscape constantly shifts, loops, and often slips out of sync. #thebetsyorb
