Color comp for Grub. I always make a color test in acrylic to make sure where I wanna go with light and colors. The more I solve at this stage the more I can relax while painting and make sure I am able to have fun with it. Painting is hard so anything I can do to make it less so is appreciated.

Monday I was trying willow-weaving for the first time. A workshop taught by Lene at @pileflet.dk was a fantastic experience. I am amazed at how forgiving the material is and how much you can change and go back even with a “hard” material as a willow branch. With perfect guidance I managed to make this basket for my wife in 6 hours. This is definitely not the last time I weave with willow. (It feels like I learned the craft of the faeries) @pileflet.dk
