I am grateful for the x markings and a steady rhythm of pulse points on Shiloh’s feet. I’m thankful for a heart that is fixed and a life that is strong. I cherish our evenings by the shore, watching the sun dip low as they uncover Indian beads and the many-colored hues of beach glass. I am thankful for the warming water + sand, the bright days ahead, and the simple, profound grace of loving and being loved through it all. Happy Mother’s Day, friends 🤍
A little update on our brave Shiloh. 🤍
We spent the day at Riley in South Bend meeting with the cardiology team. After an echo and EKG, we have some answers: Shiloh has an Atrial Septal Defect (a large hole in his heart).
While we’re still waiting to hear if the fix will be a procedure or open heart surgery, we are so incredibly proud of how he’s handled everything today. He’s been an absolute champ and so calm. We are grateful to have a more clear path forward and a team working to get him feeling his best. Thank you for all the love and prayers!
