Jaycie Carver is coming to us straight from Texas’s thriving experimental music scene. Also on the bill is local no-wave guitar legend Mark Feehan of Harry Pussy fame, and longtime Low Pass compatriot and synthesist Jerry Kaba. Doors will open at 7 with music beginning at 7:30pm!

Jaycie Carver (Austin, TX) creates haunting and abrasive soundscapes using homemade instruments often constructed from whatever trash from a nearby dumpster can be repurposed.
Mark Feehan, legendary guitarist of several notable punk bands met his sonic brother Bill Orcutt after relocating to Miami in the early 1980s, joining one of the most poetically provoking and tonally transcendent bands of their generation, Harry Pussy. The tantalizing trio, along with drummer extraordinaire Adris Hoyos, took the infamous “No Wave” scene and turned it on its head by conjuring the creative chaos and atmospheric anarchy of free jazz and noise culture. Jerry Kaba has been making music since the 1990s. Starting out as a bass player in punk and hardcore bands such as Kid Kodiak and Wrong Day to Quit. Currently Kaba performs solo utilizing Modular Synthesizers and stringed instruments to create dark experimental sound compositions. In addition to sound performance Kaba is a visual/performance artist and founder of Practice Gallery, AWFUL Wrestling, and Modular on the Spot.
