Hey! Jer here. Gotta show tomorrow! "a show?" you ask. What kind of show? Well it's a rock and roll show-I'll be singing (lead, ahem), playing some songs I've written over the years, some of it recorded, some of it-who knows their fate? My dear friends @adamzimmon @benlecourt @jonnyflaugher will be joining. To all of you singers and artists out there that I've had the honor of playing with over the years-I appreciate your hard work and self motivation to get up and do the thing more than ever. Tickets are available in the bio section above. TOMORROW NIGHT @thehotelcafe 8PM 12 dollar cover see you there 📷 @shopancientfuture with the Kodak Ektar H35

Don’t miss Jerry Borgé next Thursday, March 26🎶 Grab your tickets in advance 🎟️ new.hotelcafe.com/event/jerry-borge — Jerry Borgé is the guitar-driven songwriter troubador alter-ego of Jason Borger, Los Angeles based session keyboard player and arranger. Jason has played/toured/recorded with Ziggy Marley, Ringo Starr, Jackson Browne, Dave Stewart, Jonathan Wilson, Marc Maron, and other musical acts in his 22 years living in LA. Jason took the stage as Jerry Borgé in 2011 performing his own songs for the first time. He assembled a band and started playing shows at the Silverlake Lounge, the Satellite, the Hotel Café, and other LA area clubs. He took an extended break from singing to focus on keyboard work while recovering from a throat surgery in late 2017. This is Jerry’s first show in nine years and his second appearance as a frontman at the Hotel Café.

Like many of you music people in LA, I felt it deeply when I got the news that @thehotelcafe would be relocating from the original location on Cahuenga. Back in 2011 I started playing my own material live for the first time in my life with a band of brothers. There were probably 10 or so shows between then and 2017 when I got news that I had a cancerous growth on my right side of tonsils. I'll spare you the details unless you'd like to hear them over a drink sometime, but the surgery and treatments pretty much put a damper on the idea of me singing. But since the successful surgery and recovery slowly but surely I started writing, singing, and recording new songs. When I heard the Hotel Café would soon be closing its doors on Cahuenga it brought a flood of memories (some of them very hazy I might add). After doing a little research I found the date of the only other time I've had my my own show there (after playing what has to be at least a hundred shows over the years as a sideman) in December of 2013. I remember the way it sounded on that stage and the lovely audience of 30 or so that was different and special in a way no other LA venue could be. I wanted one more shot at playing that stage. @giahughes and the folks at Hotel were so kind and presented 8PM on Thursday March 26th. I have an incredible band that will be joining, @adamzimmon 🎸 @jonnyflaugher 🎸 and @benlecourt 🥁. Remember when things were 'the nice price'? Well we're keeping the tickets at the nice price of 12 bucks. Please go to the link in my bio if you can and purchase in advance. I have a bunch of new songs I'm looking so forward to sharing. Hope to see you there ✌️ ❤️ 📷 by @shopancientfuture with the Kodak Ektar H35

For about 9 years now Jerry Borgé playing live shows was on the 'sad' foot. Tonsil surgery took him out of the game for a while. Very soon Jerry and his band will be back on the 'happy' foot! Mark your calendars! March 26, 2026. 8PM! at the Hotel Café in Hollywood 📷 by @shopancientfuture with the Kodak Ektar H35

congrats to the fabulous @windser (he snuck this photo of me at the studio) whose debut album drops today! it was a total blast using every mysterious keyboard possible at a secret location in Los Angeles on these sessions. I told him this song 'Shut Up and Kiss Me' is an instant classic-hope you'll feel the same
