UPDATE: Week 7 After being shot in the face just got the wires out the top of my mouth and the screws that kept my Jaw aligned and my teeth in place are out, I can now eat soft foods in little bites and damn them screws being taken out was crazy my whole mouth was swollen asf after and the pain was a 9/10 WITH the numbing in my gums. Dr Surgeon said 4-6 months more and I should be fully back with permanent implants for the teeth and mouth pallet.
Appreciate all of the support thus far and watch what’s to come. I have a bunch to reveal.
What y’all think ?
Mind you she had Order protection shit like that in place plus he not supposed to be around the kid due to they previous DV situations he not even supposed to be in the neighborhood plus he on a ankle monitor so his Parole officer obviously got a Ping for him being somewhere he not supposed to.

My beautiful friend and model of over a decade, @jerrbul - shown here in a portrait from January 2016 - was shot at point blank range in the face this week. He’s survived but will face a lot of surgeries.
Gun violence is a very real plague in NYC. At Rumble in the Bronx we have this motto: Guns Down, Gloves Up! It’s more than just some words - it’s a real plea to the community to lay down the guns that are killing so many people all around us. A teenager was shot dead just a few weeks ago on my own corner. There are hard times coming for all of us, and we all need to come together to find better ways to survive.
Please go hit up the page of my friend @jerrbul and offer any kind words or support that you feel able to provide.
These are the X-rays of my teeth and jaw after I was shot in the face.
On the first image (the right side of my mouth) you can see the damage. Most of the teeth on that side are shattered along with parts of the gum and bone. The white lines the doctor drew on the X-ray mark the bullet fragments that are still inside my mouth.
Right now the doctors are monitoring them. They told me we have to wait and see if my body naturally stabilizes the fragments or rejects them, so we’re not completely out of the clear yet.
The next image shows the left side, where surgeons worked to align the remaining teeth I still have. They installed a metal cage and wiring system that’s holding everything in place. That’s the device that currently has my mouth wired shut while my jaw and teeth try to heal.
The entire roof of my mouth (the palate) was shattered from the impact. Surgeons carefully stitched it back together, and the cage with the wires is helping keep everything stabilized while it heals.
I’m sharing this not for sympathy, but to show the real consequences of gun violence. Recovery isn’t just a moment in the hospital — it’s a long process.
Grateful to still be here. One day at a time. 🙏
