Before he was a fixture on @thenineclub he blessed this world with his precision and light touch on the board. 20 years ago, @jeronwilson , was part of the legendary DVS video SKATE MORE, made by @colinmkennedy . Back in those days, when magazines existed, you’d hang on to a bunch of your photos and after the video drops the next issue of every mag would have either photos of you or all of your teammates and their tricks from the video. This was Jeron’s feature in one of the magazines that existed at the time, The Skateboard Mag. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of SKATE MORE we dug it up so you can see just how good one of your favorite podcasters is at skating.

The story behind the 30 Years of Chocolate project beautifully highlights the depth and collaborative creativity at the heart of Girl and Chocolate Skateboards. Andy Jenkins’ connection with Evan Hecox led to a pivotal moment when Hecox sent over a package of ideas that included this graphic and the Girl Wooden Doll concept.
This particular piece sparked the creation of the iconic Chocolate Portrait Series, which became a hallmark of the brand’s artistic identity. For over two decades, this framed portrait remained a part of the office, a quiet reminder of the brand’s creative roots, until it found its rightful place in the 30th Anniversary Celebration. A testament to the lasting legacy of Girl and Chocolate Skateboards.
On 7/26/24 our family was blessed by the arrival of our newest member. The girl of our dreams….. Irie MacKenzie Wilson showed up 5 weeks early with the heart of a Leo in the year of the dragon. Already she has been unstoppable, rising to meet her NICU goals, bringing the best out of all of us and melting the hearts of everyone she meets.
