Full Circle Moment… The first photo is from my time working at the White House where I got to work on criminal justice reform, seeing how systems are built, discussed, and understood at a high level. The other photos, are from a visit to Chino Men’s Prison with the @betweenthelines program, playing basketball with men living inside that same system. Two very different vantage points. Same issue. Most of the men we got to hoop with made choices that brought them there. That truth matters. The harm caused is real. But so is this: not everyone starts from the same place, and some paths are shaped long before a single choice is made. Being in that gym stripped things down, no labels, just people. If there’s one takeaway to me, it’s this: accountability and empathy can exist at the same time. Nonetheless, What made it hit even deeper, I grew up 10 minutes from that prison in Chino Hills and never really knew what was behind those walls. Now I do. Appreciate @lamont_tory for the invite. A heart of gold and the program is the proof. Photo Credit 📸: @maiwennraoult @emariemarie

The marathon isn’t about running in circles, it’s more so about passing the baton. It was great sharing this forum with people who are committed to opening doors and creating opportunities for others. Tonight, HBCU honors airs on @bet . It’s more than a broadcast—it’s a tribute to the power of possibility, the beauty of giving back, and the legacy of those who dream against all odds. I had the honor of giving a $10,000 scholarship to Suleni Sabio-Arzu, a Howard University student whose story reflects the heart of everything HBCUs stand for: resilience, excellence, and unshakable hope. Suleni, like so many others, carries the torch forthose that dream big despite the odds. She is a reminder that no matter where we start, greatness lies within us, waiting to rise. Underwriting the HBCU Honors was more than a production effort—it was a promise. A promise to shine a light on those who deserve to be seen, to invest in futures that will shape our world, and to celebrate a community that has given us so much. As I handed Suleni that scholarship, I thought of every student who needs to know their dreams are valid, their work is noticed, and their future is worth investing in. This isn’t just about one night or one moment—it’s about creating ripples of impact that will last a lifetime. Tune in tonight, and let this celebration remind you of the power of giving, the strength of community, and the beauty of lifting others as we climb. #HBCUHonors #HowardUniversity

An elite athlete coming into today’s NBA will easily make over a half billion on the court and potentially another half billion off of it over the course of their career. Today’s athletes are no longer just endorsees of products and services, they’re bonafide enterprises. It was an amazing process getting my thoughts down on the future of athlete enterprises. Give it a read, drop a comment, let me know what you think. Link in bio. Cc: @sportico @soshnick @heir_app
