My name is Jerome Noveras and I’m an artist working and living in the San Francisco Bay Area. My work explores the complexities of being a child of an immigrant and navigating the world through that lens. Through confusion, self hatred, and a yearning for acceptance.
I’m a tattoo artist that explores the ancient tradition of body marking from the Philippine archipelago while trying to create a distinct visual language for Filipinos living in the diaspora.
