The truth is. It’s always been hard for me to accept compliments/recognition or praise from other ppl. I’m the type to celebrate someone else’s win, rather than bask in the bliss of my own “moment”. It’s also never about me, but about keeping my head down, and doing the work. Being a vessel, and man of service, with the intent to champion artists. And so I wrestle with this constant internal struggle of feeling like I’m not doing enough, and reluctance to own my confidence out of fear of sacrificing my humility, which often leaves me conflicted. But with so much uncertainty in the world, and given everything we all have been through, I am learning to just smell the roses & live like there’s no tomorrow..because life truly is a blessing/privilege & not a promise. So I’m bout to OWN DA FUCCC OUTTA THIS MOMENT! 🤣
