this was also my first time going to Dayton and my jaw was on the floor - itās amazing to see this art form at its finest. I felt inspired and it was the energy I needed going into fall marching band š

I am BEYOND proud of these young musicians for representing Northwest Guilford High School at this yearsā clinic
Itās been a fun journey pushing the jazz program this school year and weāre only getting started š - more to come š
I finally had time to stop and reflect on my time marching in the Tournament of Roses with the Band Directorās Marching Band.
First of all, even with the traveling debacleā¦this was one of the best experiences of my life. It was fun meeting band directors across the country and learning about their programs, as well as making new friends throughout the week!š
Second - the fact that we got to make beautiful music and play for so many different occasions throughout the week, ending with the parade itself! Words canāt describe how happy I was to be in the moment and take it all in.
Overall, Iām blessed to be able to do this and would 100% do it again š (also California is so beautiful and I miss In-and-Out š¤¤)
