I am honored to be performing an arrangement of my arrangement of Guardia Millennial Fair with the @washmetrogso in two weeks.
The arranger, Dan Serino, did a spectacular job of adapting my solo piano arrangement for big band. I think we're all really excited to perform a bunch of music from the greatest video game music soundtrack of all time, Chrono Trigger, for you.
Words cannot explain how touched I was, or the depth of emotions stirred up when they reached out to ask me about this. I never would've thought that something I wrote could've inspired an arrangement / adaptation for such a great ensemble, and one of the driving forces in establishing and legitimizing video game music as a cultural institution today.
