in middle school, i didn’t climb the rope in gym class—not because i couldn’t, but because i ~thought~ i couldn’t.
i’d internalized all the quiet doubts, the constant caution, the subtle ways the world told me that strength wasn’t for me.
now i’m out here with my ladies, shredding the pump track, trusting our bodies, owning our power and i am SO GRATEFUL 🙂↔️
still, i hear my fair share of “be carefuls”— like they know what i’m capable of.
i know these words often coming from a place of compassion, but please:
don’t warn us.
don’t doubt us.
instead, cheer for us until your voice is sore
because goddamn do we need more women feeling strong, safe, and celebrated 🙏

gratitude post: los angeles is my favorite place because it has all my favorite people. i’m lucky enough to call this place my home and to get to wake up everyday to pursue my dreams while getting cheered on by friends that really love and see me. 🥹
