Oh, hi 👋 Obligatory introduction post incoming: I’m Jen Wolfe —a Juneau Alaska elopement and family photographer, coffee enthusiast (read: snob) and proud English nerd (love me an adverb) ☕
On your average weekday, you can find me in my home gym picking up heavy things with my husband, reading romance novels, watching my kids do way more than I ever could at a Ninja gym, or singing Taylor Swift songs in my kitchen like I'm still at the Eras Tour. If I could choose to be anywhere, I'd be hiking a mountain with my family.
On the weekends, I'm out capturing real-life magic. No stress, playful photography is what's most important to me: photos of how it actually happened and how it actually felt. Photography that feels easy, not like it only exists for social media.

Sorry not sorry. Those photos you love were probably prompted by a photographer. But they were probably not precisely posed either. The only thing all of those photos you love have in common is that the people in them forgot about the photo shoot, let go of the idea of smiling because they were being photographed and just existed with their people to in the moment.
