If I could talk to my younger self, as an artist and digital creator, I would say:⁣ ⁣ ☀️ follow your inner weird, it’s your superpower ⁣ ☀️ play over perfection, that’s where the magic lives⁣ ☀️ tech is just another brush, use it freely ⁣ ☀️ community will keep you creating, do not isolate⁣ ☀️ you’re not just making art, you’re time traveling ⁣ ⁣ Keep going, consistency over time, it’s all apart of the process ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #scannerart #artinspiration #artistssupportingartists #artadvice #arttips

Sometimes as artists we think adding something shiny, expensive, dramatic, or unexpected will suddenly make the work better, but not every pairing is meant to become a perfect duo. Still, I think there’s something beautiful about trying anyway. Some of the best parts of making art come from testing strange combinations just to see what happens, even if the flower was already enough on its own.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #artistsoninstagram #contemporaryart #mixedmediaart #creativeprocess #viralart

I used to think making art meant finding the perfect direction before taking the first step, but scanner art and sharing my work online slowly taught me otherwise. Every image, every experiment, every strange little flower arrangement on the scanner became proof that clarity usually comes after creating, not before it. ⁣ ⁣ The more I post, the more I realize that art grows through curiosity, repetition, and trusting yourself enough to keep going even when the outcome is unknown. None of this unfolded from having a perfect plan. It came from following small instincts and letting the process reveal itself over time.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #artistoninstagram #contemporaryart #creativeprocess #artinspiration #artdaily

Six affirmations for every artist to remind yourself that your ideas matter, your style does not need permission, and unfinished work still counts. ⁣ ⁣ Keep making things anyway because every artist you admire once had to believe in themselves before anyone else did!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #artistsofinstagram #creativeprocess #dailyaffırmations #affirmations #artinspiration

Working in the dark with only a single light above and the scanner wand glowing underneath the glass feels a bit like discovering something hidden. The peony sheds its petals one by one, and instead of feeling like the end of the flower, it starts to feel like the beginning of a new material. Every fallen petal catches the moving light differently, soft and translucent for just a second before becoming part of the scan.⁣ ⁣ I think a lot about how easily things get labeled as finished, wilted, or lost. But these petals still have texture, color, movement, and so much life left inside them. Peony petals will forever be a part of my art practice because they remind me that transformation can be just as beautiful as blooming. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #scannerart #contemporaryart #mixedmediaart #floralart #artistsoninstagram

Digging through old studio videos feels like opening a time capsule of my strange experiments. Revisiting these moments breaks the what should I make next block and reminds me that curiosity has always been my best guide. Looking back isn’t about nostalgia, it’s about reclaiming that fearless energy that comes from trying something weird. If you are feeling stuck, scroll through your own archives to find the spark you thought you lost.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #creativeprocess #artistlife #studiovibes #inspiration #scannerart
