The Saltzman–Leibovitz Prize draws on the perspectives of nominators whose work continues to shape critical discourse in contemporary photography.
Pastore is an award-winning visual storyteller with more than two decades of experience shaping the imagery of leading magazines and cultural institutions. She is currently Global Creative Director of Vanity Fair, and previously held roles as Visuals Director of Sotheby’s Magazine and Executive Photography Director of WSJ. Magazine.
Earlier in her career, she held positions at Harper’s Bazaar, Teen Vogue, and T: The New York Times Style Magazine. In 2022, she was awarded the Rome Prize in Design by the American Academy in Rome, where she conducted research on intergenerational storytelling and visual culture in Italy.
