Building on their past commercial work together, director Jennifer Massaux and cinematographer John B. Barrett approached ‘Recall’ as an opportunity to lean into more stylized, character-driven storytelling. Massaux’s script follows a near-future woman who adopts an AI child as human connection collides with technology. John B. Barrett is being honored with the 2025 ICG Local 600 Emerging Cinematographer Award for his work as cinematographer on this film, which also won best cinematography at Fear No Film Fest 2024.
