These past three days have been tough, the pain reminds me of battles I’ve fought before. Years ago, I went through two surgeries, yet here I am, still showing up, still taking countless rides. Endometriosis has tried to slow me down, but it hasn’t stopped me. I’m still here still pedaling, still learning, still growing. 💛 To every woman living with pain: your resilience is a quiet kind of power, and your strength is unmatched #ridingwithendometriosis #cyclinggirls #womenwhoride #roadcyclist #womensworkout

I’m riding 100 miles in the @bestbuddieschallenge on October 4, 2025 to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a physical therapist, I’ve worked with children and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and have seen firsthand the challenges they face. Best Buddies transforms lives by building friendships, opening doors to meaningful jobs, and helping people with IDD live independently with confidence. You can be part of this mission: 1. Register to ride with us on October 4th and experience the Best Buddies community firsthand 2. Support this mission with a gift of any amount if you’re unable to ride, every contribution helps change lives This NYC ride is extra special, Mark Cavendish, one of the most celebrated professional cyclists in the world and a Tour de France stage-win record holder, will be joining us to support the cause, riding alongside the Best Buddies organization and community from NYC to the beautiful Glenmere Mansion in Hudson Valley! Your support will inspire me through every mile of my 100-mile ride and will make a lasting difference for people with IDD. I’ve always dreamed of having my face or my work on a billboard in Times Square or even just in the subways of New York. But honestly, it felt like one of those far-fetched dreams that people have but never really believe could come true. I thought, maybe one day… but probably not, or at the very least, if it ever did happen, it would take a lot just to get there. Fast forward to last year I started getting messages from friends and family saying they’d seen my posters in the subway. I was in total disbelief. What’s even more special is that this all happened while I was away in the Philippines, where I usually go every February to escape the cold and be closer to my mom during her death anniversary month. So there I was, halfway across the world, and photos of my subway and bus stops ads started flooding in. It was overwhelming in the most beautiful way. And then again, this year someone sent me a photo of one of my ads in Times Square. As if that weren’t magical enough, the person who saw it and sent it to me was one of my mom’s best friends here in NYC. That little detail felt like a wink from the universe, a connection between two worlds I hold so close to my heart. Sadly, I didn’t get to see the ad in person because I ended up staying longer in the Philippines. But when I returned home, I learned I also had posters up at local bus stops just like last year. At first, I thought: Wow, I can finally check this off my dream list. But the feeling didn’t sit the way I imagined it would. Instead of feeling purely ecstatic, I found myself strangely unsettled. I began asking myself: Why doesn’t this feel like the huge accomplishment it should? Why do I feel like I didn’t earn it even though I know I worked so hard? …Continue in the comments section

As I get ready to leave the Philippines, I’m taking more than just memories with me. I’m bringing home a stronger, braver version of myself. Thank you for the warmth, the lessons, and the moments that pushed me to grow. Until next time. 👖Denim bib shorts from @ostroynyc 🙌 🕶️📸 @louiequiogue

Today’s ride was all about the climbs. I love climbing, just wish it wasn’t this hot (113 degrees F🥵) 😅 Another big, memorable ride here in the Philippines. Thank you friends!

Decided to extend my stay in the Philippines because I’m enjoying it so much! It’s getting hotter on rides, but I’m loving every moment. Just a few more weeks before heading back to NY, let’s ride!
