We had a truly glorious opening weekend! Thanks to all of you who came out to celebrate the first nights of Season 27 with us š It was amazing to have old friends show up to surprise us, greet familiar faces from seasons past, and make new connections over our food, drink and shared values around public lands.

ALSO Grand Staircase is in grave danger again, and so if you love us and our Monument, please immediately call the offices of your senators and representatives. You may not feel like they are listening, but at a bare minimum, they tally the calls and volume matters!

Weāre closed for the season, but weāre busy behind the scenes! Making and baking and mixing and fixing is what Decemberās got going on. If youāre at the Lodge, you can have some tamales for dinner, if youāre too far for a visit, weāve got piƱon brittle ready to ship by mail! We even have nibbles for the doggies. Hey beloved friends, thereās still time to come see us!
Our final HBG dinner service for season 26 will be on Sunday night November 30th. We still have spots available for our Friday seating of our Thanksgiving Harvest Feast of Gratitude, which happens to be our favorite one!
We hope to see you in the coming three weeks, itās glorious here in Boulder, perfect for hiking and basking in the golden glow & glory of the bright yellow cottonwoods.
Our sweet Little Bone food trailer is open everyday for breakfast and lunch from 7-1:30 and then offering yummy simple dinners beer and wine too) on Tuesday and Wednesday nights when HBG is closed. Hours are 4-8. Our final little bone breakfast will be on 12/1 from 7-10 am. We look forward to seeing you there too.

Oh, rest in peace and power beloved and most extraordinary Jane Goodall. You were a true Boddhisattva, displaying all the qualities of enlightened and compassionate heart, with an unflagging determination and fierce courage to make a better world for animals and all sentient beings. Dear Jane, you had such a profound effect on us. Thank you for your generous mentorship, heartening letters, and friendship. May your time among the stars be bright with joy and endless smiling doggies. Thank you for your service to this world, you gave us all so much.

Biskieās been gone a whole year. What a truly excellent friend and companion he was. Oonie has tended my heart so sweetly every single day, with soulful doggie kisses and dewy eyebulbs full of doggie love and understanding. Lucky, lucky, lucky.

Easy to Love š
This immeasurable place captures our hearts again and again, every SINGLE day. The pollinators and butterflies are back, bees are buzzing flower to flower, our farm, gardens and orchards are thriving, and weāve been dazzled by the first rainbows of summer.
Tomorrow we will stand with our community at the No Kings day of defiance March. We love this monumental place and will do all we can to protect it ā
