one of my newest illustrations centred around grief ☕️🌱🐇🍃🪆🧡 i turned 25 five days ago & never in my wildest nightmares did i imagine i would have lost both of my parents before it. waking up to them not being there was one of the hardest things i’ve had to do ~ but luckily i have a wonderful support system of friends, family and a very special irish man who made it easier. 🌷🌈✨
recently, i’ve actually wanted to get out my ipad and draw!!!! (hooray! 🥳) and rather than try to ignore my grief, i’m trying to embrace it. you’ll likely see it making its way into all of my ‘personal’ work from now on, and here is the first example! 🌟🏃 when i saw this lovely little poem on pinterest, i knew i needed to make something with it. all of the illustrations pay homage to my parents - from my mum’s collection of russian dolls, to my dad’s love of tea, etc. i’m excited to get this along with other new work printed soon, but for now here it is in digital form!!! ✏️🎟️🥰

Well, that’s our springtime dates done and dusted, and bloody hell, it was fantastic! 🌷🌘🌸🌟🍀✨⭐️ Thank you from the bottom of my (our) heart ~ we popped up in Moseley, Kings Heath & Brindleyplace, and all I have to say is WOW. 😭🪄
Whether you were a trader, a visitor or a virtual supporter, it was fantastic because of you! 🌱 We started off at our OG venue, and had the best time across the two floors in The Moseley Exchange. Moseley did us proud, and showed their support to thirty-six makers from Brum & beyond ~ and the sun even came out too! 👒💖
Then, we had our Cherry Blossom Market in Brindleyplace; which really blew my socks off. Brindley SHOWED UP ~ we had over 1500 people walk through the door to support our eighteen fantastic makers. Even though it was raining and we had to change outdoor plans at the last minute, it didn’t put you off. Thank you. ☔️😭🌸
And lastly, we finished the springtime season off in Kings Heath, accompanied by our wonderful friends at @kingsheathfmkt . It was a lovely day filled with so many wonderful conversations, purchases and even a bit of sunshine again (plus lots of wind!). 💨💞
It’s been such a brilliant start to 2026 ~ and I’m so so sooooo grateful. 🌒🩵🫶 Over Christmas I wondered if the markets were still the right thing to do for me, if I could still do them enough justice without my Mum by my side… and although it’s so much harder without her, these three markets have really solidified to me that YES ~ I can do this, and I will! And she’ll be with me in spirit every step of the way. 👣💕
Also, so thankful to my boyfriend Paddy for stepping up so much and being my BLUE MOON partner in crime. 🌟✨⭐️ OK, enough of the soppy stuff.
